Thinkpad ubuntu battery life

I get 5-hours on my T4with nvidia graphics and a 9-cell battery depending on usage. For me, my battery life is pretty consistent across distros. How is battery life on Thinkpads with Ubuntu ? Buying Advice I am planning to buy a Thinkpad but am skeptical of going for another PC Laptop given all the past PC Laptops that I have used Ubuntu on have had terrible battery life , absolutely terrible - like 1-hours.
